We’re Going to Talk More About the Stories You Share… But First: Let’s Talk About the How
How do your potential customers actually purchase—and how do you receive the commission?
When you became a Customer, you were given an Account Number. This number is how you are identified within Young Living. When accessing your account you can sign in with either this or the email address you used at registration.
As a Brand Partner, you have a ShareYL Link that has your unique member number embedded in it.
By using this ShareYL link, your Potential Customers will “sign up” under you. The Deep Link Generator and Wishlist features are also great ways your Customers can begin shopping with Young Living and ensure you receive commissions from their purchases.
Your Personal Link
Where to Find It:

On this page, you will find two simple link options to share with a Potential Customer.
We are focusing on the first one here: Your Personal Referral Link
This is the top link on the page. Copy it and it’s ready to share with a friend. Clicking this link will take your Customer to the main YoungLiving.com homepage. As they shop and complete checkout, your referral number will automatically be attached.
Deep Link Generator
Where to Find It:
YoungLiving.com → Menu item “Share YL”
On this page, you’ll also find a second option: the Deep Link Generator.
This tool allows you to send a Potential Customer directly to a specific product or category on the YL website.
To use it:
Navigate to the product or category you wish to link to, and copy the URL (the full link shown in the navigation bar).
Paste that full URL into the first box of the Deep Link Generator.
Generate your link using the button provided.
Copy the newly generated link and share it.
When your Potential Customer clicks on the deep link, it will take them directly to the product page (for example, Thieves Chest Rub), and your referral number will automatically be embedded in their checkout experience.
ShareYL Discount Code
Young Living offers a discount code for all new Customers to use!
When you’re sharing your referral link with a friend, be sure to let them know that using the code SHAREYL at checkout will save them 10% on their first order.
Wishlists
Where to Find It:
YoungLiving.com → Menu item “Wishlists”
One of the best sharing tools available to you through the Young Living website is Wishlists! This feature makes saving and sharing your favorites easier than ever. You can create multiple, unique lists and share them with your friends, family, and team.
Here’s How It Works:
Create a list of your favorite items or a custom bundle for someone. You can either add items directly within the Wishlist (using the search field at the top), or navigate to the product’s page, click the heart icon, and select the list you'd like to add it to.
To share a Wishlist, navigate to the Wishlists page.
Select the list you want to share and click the “Share” button at the top of the list. The link generated is custom to your wishlist and has your enrollment information embedded.Your Customer will be able to click “Add to Cart” or “Add to Loyalty Order” directly from your Wishlist.
You’ll also be able to share specific product lists with friends, family, and new enrollees easily.
There are so many fun ways to use this resource!
Also: You can make edits to a list and the shared link will still work—the items shown will simply reflect your most recent changes.

Create a list for a popup sale on Black Friday or another “Get it now!” opportunity
Wishlists are also great for curating a shopping experience for a specific Customer. Bundle together the items you’ve discussed for their enrollment. Once they’ve checked out, you can use the same Wishlist to adjust and add products for their second-month order.
Want to Save Someone Else’s Wishlist?
Log in to the YL website
Click on your friend’s Wishlist link
It will appear under the “Shared with Me” header
Click the SAVE button at the top to copy it into your own “My Lists” tab
From there, you can edit the list and generate your own custom link to share
